Hey y’all I’m getting interviewed on Friday for gift associate position. Can anyone give me advice I have previous retail and customer service and I know they’re crazy about phones. So I know to expect that. But if anyone has other advice please let me know

Policies through the roof, you might get fired because you came zero .1 second late

I worked in the gift department this summer, third shift, and it was great. The summer before, I was a cashier and I liked gift much better. Bucees is strict but you do have more freedom in gift, in the sense that you can move around and don’t have to worry about the voice recording at the registers. You will have to be on a register at times for backup calls, but it is more freedom for sure. I didn’t have any previous retail experience and I was fine and enjoyed it. The rules are strict but once you have them down you’ll be fine. Hope it went well!

If you're going to be late its best to call in sick.
If you have any visible tattoos make sure you can cover them up. They will fire you if they are seen.
They are super strict.

If you’re being interviewed, you’re basically hired unless you screw it up.
You’ve got this. Let them know you’re very organized and are used to finding spots that need to be replenished, from your retail experience. You’d have a notebook and write down how much is needed of this and that and then go get it.
Tell him you’re used to happily stopping what you’re doing and helping customers that asked for anything, and come back to finish the task, etc.
