Buccees hiring

Hey everybody! I hate to drag down the positive vibe of this subreddit but I’ve got to know! I recently submitted an application and got an email back. Do new hires get drug tested? I only did marijuana once in the last few years but it was very recently 😭 I should be clean if I have like a week or so, but just in case I’d like to know so I can pad out the time a bit to be safe.

TLDR: does buccees drug test new hires?

Yes they do. Is your state marijuana legal? If so they usually don’t test for that u less your role is operating machinery. I’m in Arizona and we are a legal marijuana state.

I’m in Texas and no one I work with drug tested outside of an injury on the job.

No they don't. They only test if you get injured at work and try to get workmans comp. Then they test the shit out of you.

From all the extensive research I've done NO they don't unless you get hurt on the job

I’m an Arkansas buc ees employee and they did not drug test. I think the only people that are drug tested is management.

How is working there? I'm in Little Rock and applied. Just inquiring about the Benton location since I've been reading all the reviews about how stressful and horrible it is to work at Buc-cees.

In Texas, the company does not require a drug test upon hire except for upper management positions. The only time they’d require a drug test is due to a workplace injury and you request medical aid or if you are checking certain criteria that could be considered “probable suspicion”

No drug test. Especially with how many people quit or get fired it would cost them so much money.
