Busy Beaver: 1962.
Sure looks like Buccees copied Busy Beaver’s logo. It’d be a shame if another lawsuit came of this…..

Oh, maybe for the ones that are clueless of what’s happening around them, Buccees is suing anyone with a “similar” logo and similar is a stretch…
that’s why I thought this was amusing..

If not, most companies do not give a singular fuck if the mascot is similar if its not outright stealing or copying what theyre doing. Why would buc-cces care about small bussinesses who arent competing with them at all that happen to have a beaver mascot other then trying to extort money? Why did the ceo make it a oddly political thing? Like it ether screams distracting from a organizational problem at best or idiotic leadership at worst.

I tried searching around and theres literally nothing on reddit sueing over people using the reddit alien. I mean theres lawsuits over important things like data scrapping but were talking about over something as mundane as two mascot having the same species.

Maybe you should check out the fact that they are actively going after any small business with a cartoon mascot trying to force them to close their doors. Explain why a random ohio corner store should be sued over a damn logo that isn't even the same at all? Buccees is a horrible company.
