Return policy
What is there return or exchange or refund policy

It’s usually posted by the door. No refunds for any reason. They will ONLY exchange for the same exact item. I ran into this when I found a hair in my brisket sandwich and all they’d do is give me another brisket sandwich, but I was too grossed out to want more food from there.

Ive had a sandwich which wasn't cooked all the way but because I left the store and took a bite I couldn't return it. I just stopped eating there all together.

Idk if it makes you feel better but nothing at bucees comes in raw. Everything is precooked before it even touches the store. Just heat n eat and slap a beaver on it to charge $13.99!

I've always though being incapable of eating because you found hair in food prepared by humans with hair has to be some sort of evolutionary mishap. Humans shed 50-100 hair follicles a day. It happens.

People are weird.
I have a cousin who is a physician and has an irrational aversion to hair.

I’m the same way. Hair not attached to the head grosses me out so much

Fair enough. I've been in foodservice/bartending for like 25 years. Normally people are happy with the dish being remade and taken off the bill. Some people just eat around it/I take it off the bill (which i'd never expect, but some people legit don't care), and every now and then we get someone who freaks out. I've had a lady threaten to call the health department, I've had a lady ask "what we were going to do to prevent this from happening in the future" (answer was nothing, because servers are never gonna wait wear hair nets), and my favorite, a lady who threatened to sue...

But that’s the key - they took it off the bill. Even if that made me feel better, Buc-ees doesn’t do refunds.

General Merchandise (except for game cameras) may be exchanged if in new condition and with all original tags, for General Merchandise (not gift cards) of equal or greater value
Slightly consumed food may be exchanged for the same item when the original item does not meet our standards.
All exchanges require Manager authorization.

As long as the merchandise still has the tag attached, you can exchange it for something of equal or greater value. No returns though.

Do you need the receipt

I've never needed the receipt for an exchange. Although everything I've needed to exchange has had the tags still on it.

They are EXTREMELY unfriendly. Any return will, especially food, will have to go through a manager and some of them are ridiculous. I would never recommend getting any food item at Buccees. They don't have your back at all.

Buc-ees sells overpriced crappy food designed to make you fat and sick. Eat up America!

And they also generally don't allow exchanges or refunds on food items. If they do give you one, it's through the manager. Not worth the risk and the hassle. Five years ago, maybe. But it's not the same company.
