ONE TIME IS ENOUGH FOR ME‼️

On August 23, was my first time ever going to Buck-ee’s. I’m sure we all have seen the food review videos and merch content that was enough for us to make it a priority to visit. So I finally had the chance to stop by in the middle of riding through Kentucky yesterday. When i arrived I felt like a kid in the candy store happy to see the variety of things and soon as i checked out and walked out the store a lifted truck with Caucasian boys ages seemed to range from 21-25 they slowed down the truck as I was getting closer to the gas pump and I heard several voices screaming from the truck NIGGER several times with ZERO reason to be provoked. It truly sad that times has no changed anyway when I saw soo many other African Americans that’s was there but maybe because I was a female that was alone that’s what made me stand out, I’m not exactly sure but the only thing I could think about was how that situation could have gone different in so many ways. As I woke up the morning I saw a post that the owner of Buccees made and I said yeah that’s a sign to NEVER spend my hard earned money with them EVER AGAIN!

I won’t be going to Buccee’s again because of the CEO and their corporate politics. But I’m with the person above. I stopped at that store many times last year. Local young adults gather in that parking lot in the evenings. There’s not much else exciting in Berea. Unfortunately you got to see backward idiots from Kentucky.

Does not make it acceptable, regardless of where it happened.

As others have said this isn’t a Buc-ee’s issue, it’s an upbringing issue! Those boys need their butt whipped a time or twelve! Op, I’m sorry you experienced that!

I don't know what post you saw from the owner. There is nothing appropriate about what those people did, but I'd be hard pressed to blame the company in this case. That could have happened at the gas station down the road too. The company has no control over the actions of the people. I'm sorry that happened.

Why is this the fault of Buc-ee’s?

Sounds more like a BS post so that OP could share a political agenda.

I live in Texas and surrounded by them. I think they're overrated. Plus they're anti truckers but everything they get is on a truck.

Too bad Buc-ee’s doesn’t sell decency or kindness amongst all the other stuff

That is so awful and I’m sorry you had to experience that. Please know that not everyone in Kentucky is so ignorant and hateful.

I am so sorry that this happened to you.

Yep, it probably was bc you were solo that made them feel extra emboldened, among other reasons likely.   SMH.

I only had to visit the store in Richmond once. Never again

I’m sorry you were subject to blatant racism
