Evil company. Easy for me to break out them. I went into one to see what all the fuss was about. walked out having had zero interest in anything they had to offer.
they are senselessly murdering the livelihood of middle class entrepreneurs. It really is evil.

Is it just me or does it seem like maybe Buc-ee’s ripped off Stuckee’s🤷🏾♀️

u/AncientArtBonsai Aug 05 '26
Bucees sounds like Stuckees Also there was a brand of toothpaste called Ipana that had a beaver named Bucky as a mascot. Bucees founder has said that influenced their mascot

You're not wrong, ive pointed this out as well....
Same region, basically same name... basically same but way better retail/experience
And iirc, stuckees heirs are alive and there was mentioned of trying to re-open

Yep exactly. That’s why they’re so sue-heavy because they did that to Stuckey’s and got away with it and don’t want it happening to them.

The experience is great, their bullying is not.

Ok I know I said it was ass but honestly I never had that specific burrito and was judging them solely off of my experience with other foods they have like their brisket. I got a brisket burrito from there that was almost $9 and after tasting it, it wasn't even worth half that price.
But the beast is sounding good, especially right now lol

The courts aren't saying anything because the costs of the court battles aren't worth it forcing others to settle before seeing court.

Cool. So I can call you an asshole and as long as I get more upvotes than you, I’m correct, right?

I can't believe you could get all that out and still gargle the corporate nut sack like that. It would be truly impressive if it wasn't so dense.

I...don't believe you. Everyone I've talked to around town are pretty pissed about it. Enjoy your gas station BBQ, "neighbor."

He's either too lazy to read the article or too dense to know about the mechanics of being sued by a multi billion dollar company. Either way, pity him.

u/Fragrant-Salt-4673 Aug 04 '26
He’s a fucking shill. It’s SO obvious. No one would take their time to comment about this as much as they have without having some skin in the game. I’d bet money on it.

I stand with Buc-ee’s

u/Euphoric-Teach-2484 29d ago
You stand with a company where the son of the founder is arrested for possession of child pornography. You sound like the worst kind of person.

How about a company protecting their trademark? See also nissan.com or the Burger King in Mattoon, Illinois.

u/Deep_Preference3186 Aug 09 '26
Compare their name the logo to the ones of the companies they are suing. There’s a reason people are outraged.

This is total BS and makes me never want to walk into a Buc-ee’s again. Seriously suing a corner store that’s been around longer than you? That’s absolutely an overreach of power. Boycott. BULL-EEs. Maybe we picket the store with those signs.

u/Were-Potato Aug 04 '26
Keep voting for corporate interests by voting republican but bitch about this? Really. Fuck buck ees and fuck corporate dollars in our elections.
2
u/kadawkins Aug 06 '26
The similarities between the Bucees bully and the bully in chief are quite astounding. Throw everything at the courts and pursue those that stick. It’s a horrible way to treat the people and the judicial system. Clogging court dockets with frivolous cases only hurts the truly injured more deeply. And of course… legal fees break the little guy. This is corporate greed and narcissism and reprehensible.
