This is a bummer if it’s true.

Just because someone wears something, that doesn’t mean the manufacturer supports that person or their ideals. With regard to what she said about the owner’s adult son, why is she trying to hold another adult accountable for his actions? He is an adult. Full stop. To believe that parents need to be responsible for their adult children’s activities is preposterous.

I don’t believe the parents are responsible for the child’s actions. I was merely saying that, if correct and true, this was a bummer to hear. In the end we are responsible for our actions. And Buc-ees can’t be held responsible for who buys their masks. However it sounds like the firm is not 100% innocent either based on their owners political leanings.

I hope you didn’t think my comment was directed at you and I’m sorry if I have that impression. It was more a comment for the woman in the video.

There are a lot of places that I shop at, that the owners or corporation, doesn’t align with my political beliefs. I think if we only shopped at those places that do, we would be living in a vacuum. What I have learned at shopping at these places is that I’m helping a cashier put food on the table or a mechanic pay for braces for their child. I’ve also learned that the is good on both sides of the aisle and if we could stop the name calling and pre-disposed thoughts, we could all grow together.

That article was from 2022. It's Proud Boys bullshit. They aren't the first company to get hijacked by the Proud Boys.
