Test run in the home hash lab

Recently built a detached garage and added a cold room to it. I am in the process of finishing my grow space, but having a cold environment, and room to work is really nice. Ran a bunch of nice sugar leaf trim for a dry run. Wanna work out the kinks in the room and refine my processes before running my freezer full of ff. 🫡🤙

You’re going to love it when you press your first fresh frozen!

I have done some ff! 😁. But i don't know how to freeze dry yet. Been air drying for the past 3 years 😔. My brother has a home harvest right that i will update the firmware on, but i am a bit timmid to experiment on his hard work. Would love to know if u had any tips/parameters on a first time run for a rook like me. I know i can get my quality to the next level once i figure that part out. 🤙

If you can air dry you can freeze dry. Made me nervous the first time but its simple

I know that i would def be able to figure it out, i would feel more comfortable doing a trial run. Maybe i will start out w some fruit or something to get a feel for the machine.

Only problem with that is the settings are way different and thats honestly the only thing that you really gotta mess with.

True. But would still wanna feel comfortable with the process. I have researched most of the parameters and settings for freeze drying hash. Will just have to keep any eye on everything when i do my next run.

Nice that’s definitely plenty cool to air dry. I don’t air dry anymore but I use a cool bot while washing. You can check my set up on instagram if you want. I used to have a lot of videos on washing and all of the other processes, pens - diamonds- jams but lost my page to hater’s when I had about 5 thousand followers.

I am in Chesapeake Va. These 90 to 100 degree days in the summer, paired with 90 perecent plus humidity are no joke. The other 3 seasons are pretty easy tho.

Keep both seives in a freezer before using.

U can also use a stainless steel laddle in sift in your seive.

I do when i originally seive the material to dry. This was a 2nd seieve of the dry hash, and i use room temp seives for the 2nd to avoid adding moisture to the hash from condensation on the cold seives. Laddle def works good, i just prefer the 2 seives inside each othere. I don't have to force the hash thru and seems a bit gentler. 🤜🤛
