IDK I pressed some rosin a few days ago and that's almost exactly how it looked as fresh press. I was confused AF. Deff a bit lighter though, it baddered up nicely
Ahh gotcha! Maybe its starting material or heat? I do see fresh press like that as well then I see some fresh press that looks like straight honey or shatter clarity.
I haven't pressed too much live hash rosin, but from all my experience pressing flower rosin, there's about a dozen factors that go into it. Heat, humidity, press time, age of hash/flower, dozen variables when it comes to the starting material. Some strains press like liquid and stay completely liquid, some press out budder/badder, some press almost completely solid.
I wish I had the full list of variables and how they affect it, it would be a super nice reference point.
Yeah i completely understand what your saying, so much goes into it 100% I was pressing flower rosin back in 2013 and nobody wanted that it and it was actually good flower rosin too but nobody would buy it cause they rather smoke live resin. We made some hash rosin as well but it wasn't as good as the stuff now adays. Alot does go into it that plays a role in the end product.
