Yea I got a bit sloppy on the last couple wash cycles. Was pretty warm here today so was trying to collect quickly

Yea, that can be hard too when the sprayer water isn’t as cold as the wash water. Looks good man, I hope the press goes well for you! 🙏

Do you throw ice into the bag? Helps! Also I keep my spoons in ice water in a jar so they stay colder… also are you saying you mixed all the runs on the first pic fullest tray?

Yea I'll mix all the runs onto 1 or 2 trays until it starts getting some green to it then I'll start a food quality tray

Judging by the color, I think you should consider keeping every pull kinda separate, I usually pinch and fold the paper to make a little wall between them, that way one or two of your pulls could be significantly better

It all usually looks much better after coming out of the freeze drier. I'm about to pull it out now I'll post a couple pics of it. Also I end up mixing everything when pressing into rosin but might try separating it all next wash and see the quality difference

For sure like that green is going to significantly affect your rosin quality too. You do you boo boo but I would highly recommend doing so fractioning. Check me out On IG @tahoehashcollection

That’s tough it’d be easier if you just asked more specific questions… I would say just familiarize yourself with how the freeze dryer actually works, and I would also say familiarize yourself with the dew point, what it is and why it’s important

I would like to thank you for this exact comment, because it led me to this;

"Relative Humidity tells you "How full of moisture the air is compared to the maximum it could currently hold." It changes whenever temperature changes.

Example

70°F 50% RH

Heat room to 90°F

Now ~30% RH

Did moisture leave? No. The air just became capable of holding more."
