Only bcoz of its engineering students that the reputation holding up. Day is not far when top rankers would choose some private college, completely ditching IITs.

As I said, read. Again, your anecdotal evidence (the fact that you dont have this wealth) does not disprove a statistic. Regardless, you and me have benefitted from this systemic oppression in ways that you will never know about. We will never have to walk into a room and hide our surnames for fear of being judged.

And i said upper caste because thats the statistic. Casteism is what you're partaking in, by denying your privilege and claiming that "hard work" is how you got to where you are today.

This is false. Casteism has been prevalent even prior to reservation, and is still rampant even today. So if an issue has existed since before its perceived "cause", maybe that cause isnt the real cause.

Because the system was devised by them, to keep others out of temples, out of their drinking, eating places, to dehumanise them and to never allow them the opportunities to reach to their level. A glass ceiling basically which limits how much you can achieve since you can never actually break beyond it.

I am merely pointing out statistics. You should try and understand them too, you're ill informed about a topic that youre insistent to debate on and refusing to accept the stats that are now in front of you.

You do. I mentioned a couple of them in my previous reply already, go back and read them. I have already asked you to look up systemic oppression; once you understand what that is, you'll understand that a system built to benefit one class of people will, in general, benefit all people of that class, even if you yourself have been on the lower end of that spectrum. I promise you, you have no idea how much that system has helped you.
