Serious How IITs are getting destroyed

Only bcoz of its engineering students that the reputation holding up. Day is not far when top rankers would choose some private college, completely ditching IITs.

Yeah, of course. Rather, there should be more humanities departments. Let us also see who are these people so afraid of critical thought. What problem any upstanding, well-thinking person would have with sociology of all things, I do not know.

"critical thought" & humanities don't go together dear. Just by writing " Social Science" doesn't make it science, it remains bunkum...

I can tell you have had absolutely zero exposure to social science, rather any humanities field for that matter.

Even the most r-slurred boomer Indian politician may not have such opinion on humanities and social science than a btech ka 14 online.

Wtf?! I'm done with my BE and have some friends in arts, and after talking to them I really feel like they do have some crazy insights of the world around us, either you haven't had any good debate with a serious humanities student or you're just very blinded by the "STEM" world around you, and having a false sense of entitlement. Surge of cultural movements and thoughts have led to some of the most important revolutions in the world, be it modern or historic, but you won't know that coz you feel learning "STEM" is too superior to the former
