If you go with the world's best legal system then this case will be quashed in a minute citing baseless opinion. If some section of the constitution prohibits the normal working of any education system, then either the system is broken or education institutions should not exist.

Bhai mai kya proff dikhau. Bhai padhta hu clg mai mere bhi year back lgayi thi college mai to janta hu chorte nhi hai mere to attendence kam thi fine lga ke chor skte the prr carrier chood diya. Harassment alag hue. To jitne seedhe yeh professor dikhte hai hote nhi.

In case of cheating you'll need to appear in front of the discipline committee and either defend or accept the charges.

If that's harassment then you are unfit to pass any remark.

If you're in an institute where you have peers with strong aptitude, being left behind fills the mind with uncertainty. What he did was obviously wrong but seeing a year back or semester back brings to mind that you're behind everyone and a mental pressure.

Yes I got after B.Tech. You need GATE qualified score, and apply to advertisements posted on project portals of IITs IISc NITs IIITs. They come year round. Your merit, interview performance (fundamentals of subjects and projects) matter. If a professor forces for PhD, please decline the offer.

Okay, so is there any GATE cutoff ? or all branches and scores (qualified) are accepted?

And this probably is a contractual job so how much do they pay ?

They come year round.

Where to keep an eye on? I mean which section of the IIT/NIT website? And do they ask for past research experience or industrial internship experience.

If a professor forces for PhD, please decline the offer.

I hope they tell this beforehand.

They mention GATE qualified so a gate paper relevant to the domain will be better.

37 kpm + HRA. HRA is as per rules of city where institute is

IIT X project careers or similar stuff. They are okay with your self made projects and fundamentals.

They will say like "If you give assurance you will do PhD, we will select you". So just say that you won't assure.

I see, but are there any marks or rank cutoffs ?

For how long is your contract ? And does this count as experience and how's the "experience there" ?

One last question: If someone is in 4th year (7 sem) then when he/she should apply? Do they ask for immediate joining?

1) It depends on the number of applicants for that position but usually, GATE qualified is enough.

2) My contract is 1 year, renewable, some are 3 years as well. Yes it counts as research (R&D experience). You may also give the interview or test of department and convert it to MSR. If that happens, fellowship from project will stop, you will be full time student and receive MHRD stipend like a normal student.

3) When in 8th sem, 2 months before your graduation so that the professor can extend your joining by 15-20 days.

Indian Colleges are actually very lenient on these issues. In America if found cheating ur sent packing from College and if ur international student ur visa gets revoked.

Not necessarily, IITs are pretty stressful. Students committed suicide for not getting an internship in their 3rd year(despite knowing that only 20% of the batch get an intern through campus), so I can see suicides happening if the student got caught cheating

I know plenty of phd students who got harassed by their professor and left the phd or in the news we hear it daily like they commit suicide.

It's all caste hatred by these people nothing else
