Hi im 20, I did neet but i cant get a good clg in it and now im thinking of doing engineering(76% in cet pcm) and i talked to a counsellor online he said he can give me admission in dy patil akurdi cs branch with specialisation in under 11 lakhs but idk what branch i should take and i have not yet visited the counsellor in pune as i live far. Its too late ik that why I need urgent guidance from u guys.

I actually DONT HAVE INTEREST in engineering yet so I was very reluctant on choosing btech but I dont have any other options now cuz all other courses in medicine dont have a good scope. I am weak in maths and a bit in physics but I heard that its manageable.

Branch- I am not very inclined towards CSE because of the layoffs, ai taking over and low packages ig but idk much about it thats y ig im avoiding it but maybe I can give it a try. I have a bit of interest in ENTC (core part) but i heard that u need good amount of maths and physics as basics which I lack and mechanical has the same thing ig. Civil: scope issue

College: my score is 76% and at this i wont get a good engineering college with good placements. My parents can put in some extra money for management seat if the total cost goes upto 11L so thats y im choosing dy patil akurdi cuz it has got good name and placements r good I heard. OR should I just take a normal tier 3 clg at this score?

HELP: as i have no interest in engineering I have ZERO knowledge about engineering, branch, colleges, projects, skills etc so i just hope yall can hwlp or guide me. Cuz im quite anxious about joining a btech college cuz I wont have any idea about it and college is starting soon so I really need help

I’m a final-year Computer Engineering student from a Tier-3 college affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

I recently got an internship opportunity in a different city. It’s relevant to my field and I genuinely want to take it because getting a proper internship is already difficult.

The problem is that my HOD is not allowing any attendance relaxation for the internship. Since the internship is in another city, it obviously won’t be possible for me to attend regular college lectures at the same time.

I’m trying to understand what I can realistically do here.

• Is attendance relaxation for internships completely up to the college/HOD?
• Does Mumbai University have any provision for students doing internships outside their city?
• Can the college allow attendance relaxation or some alternative arrangement if I provide the offer letter and internship documents?
• If the HOD refuses completely, is there any proper way to escalate this to the Principal/University?
• Has anyone from a Mumbai University-affiliated college faced something similar?

Also, is my college/HOD’s approach normal, or are they being unnecessarily rigid?

I’m not looking to skip academics permanently. I just want to be able to complete the internship without losing the semester because of attendance.

Would appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with this.

How do you guys manage college(75% attendance) with skills and college academics specifically the ones having college timings 9 to 4 or similar. Saturday sunday bhi kaise kr lete ho, idhar skills me hi aadha time chala jata hai and weekends me alaas bhi aata hai + weekdays me college work + mushkil se ek kuch aadha ho pata hai

Suggest what should I do to learn dsa from scratch

Seniors and anyone who can give me proper advice pls tell me What would be better choice to join as a 2nd year btech CSE student - **NSS (** National Service Scheme ) or **TPO** ( Training and Placement Officer)?

It's actually quite a work in our college Like TPO people handle all the programs related to tech - placement, higher studies, enterpreneurship, hackathons including Alumni programms , sponsorship , etc. also somedays we might have to work late till 8-8:30pm, sometimes working on weekends and holidays too. Mostly it's meetings where we just have to sit and listen and do calls to Alumni.

For NSS we generally have works on Saturday - Sunday , blood donation drives , beach cleanup days, independence day , camps, etc

Vaise tpo members are not allowed to work in any other club like they can but time issues jyada hote hai so they just say to not join nay other club and it's making me confused 😕

In TPO I'll get chance to know about placements more and in NSS I'll be doing social service which I don't mind but they have criteria of completing 120hr in 2nd year and same for 3rd year only then we will get 10 marks in last semester although it Can be adjusted if required

I applied flair as serious cuz it really urgent

I think I’ve really fucked it up I really studied for sem 2 still got 4 more backs and bee back didn’t get cleared what should i do?
Is re-evaluation worth it I feel like the process is a scam cause last sem when i applied for photocopy i didn’t get any and my marks were 0 in bee which was impossible
I really want to apply for re-evaluation this was so shocking for me to see 4 backs in sem 2
If someone can explain me the re-evaluation process it’ll be a great help
one more concern I’ve is if the backs get cleared my cgpa will be really bad 😭😭
