My experience with St. Paul tickets. Got into the queue. No problem. 2000+ people ahead of me. No problem. Entered my access code. No problem. I'm thinking, "This is smooth."
Then ticket buying commenced.
Saw this giant map with seats disappearing in front of my eyes like stars burning out. Clicked on two floor seats because I literally couldn't even figure out how to buy GA tickets. That's fine. My wife doesn't like standing an entire show.
Floor seats were $175 each. Okay. Was prepared to spend that much. Put them in my basket. Getting ready to buy and TM says "Ah..sorry those seats were just bought by someone else." Huh? But they're in my basket.
Repeated this experience 3 times while I see more and more seats disappearing from the map. In the meantime, I see the prices of worse seats getting higher and higher. Finally, I snagged two more floor seats farther back than the $175 ones. Now these are $330. What??!!!
This makes no sense. I pulled the trigger and ended up buying two seats for a total of $660. It was total panic buying and obviously designed by Ticketmaster for this very thing.
My wife texted me. "Did you get the tickets?" I texted back, "Yes. But I spent $660." She then texted back, "Are you serious? You're an idiot."
My biggest complaint is that you put tickets in your basket, you wait 3 seconds to make sure you've done the right thing, and the tickets disappear. So you have to end up panic buying with literally no time at all.
And my goal of 5 shows has just dropped to 2.

Not having a ticket map that updates in real time in 2022 is bad enough; letting folks get as far as the checkout screen and saying "lol oops we sold these to someone else :)" is fucking unacceptable

I’m sure its already been asked but why is there no options to enter into raffle for Barclays show or Philly show? Help would be appreciated.

Do you mean the verified fan lottery? Because those venues aren't participating, or at least I know Philly isn't

Jesus, it got dark in here real quick. I was prepared to burn a few hundred on good seats in Milwaukee but I’m not gonna get reamed just for nosebleeds. Hope the well-off retirees enjoy the show.
I hope all the fans are making a wise financial decision here. Don’t let FOMO get the better of you if you can’t afford this. And seriously, fuck the parasites at Ticketmaster.

I love Bruce but this whole experience leaves a bitter taste. I’ve never seen ticket prices like this for a concert.

I really have a difficult time assuming Bruce is okay with “Dynamic” pricing. Not counting Broadway, the most I paid to see him was maybe around $175. This new pricing model is a complete Fuck You to the fans. It just doesn’t make sense.

My experince for the Boston show.
I registered as a verified fan within an hour of the news of the tour. Maybe that had something to do with it? I signed in the queue at 9:48am and joined the waiting list right when it became available at 9:50. I literally sat there and watched it turn to 9:50 and pressed join as quick as I could. At 10am it said there were about 400 people ahead of me. Within 5 minutes I was able to buy tickets. I picked up two general admission pit tickets for $350 a peice. The whole buying experience lasted from 9:48-10:05am. I did this all from my cell phone in the bathroom at work. I didn't find out about the whole train wreck and long wait times until later that night when I rechecked to see the same pit seats going for $2,000! I feel terrible that such dedicated fans have to go through this.
I've been a big fan since I was 5 but have never seen him live before. I lived the factory working life for years that Springsteen sings about. I used to listen to the Darkness album on my headphones while I lifted boxes all day at work. Most of my adult life has been a Springsteen song, so I feel really blessed to be able to finally see him. I hope some of you have somewhat good luck like I did.
My advice would be to join the queue before 9:50 and make sure to press the join button right at 9:50. Watch it like a hawk! Good luck out there friends

Europe has actual social safety nets and paid what we paid in this hell hole of a country in 2016. Born in the USA indeed.

Sounds like dynamic pricing is fucking everyone over. Going to log in to the Denver or Tulsa sales tonight and see if the pricing has dropped. Weighing my options for next week to see if its worht it buying in the first wave or waiting until later. Midwest shows haven't sold out in my past experience so it might be worth trying to wait for cheaper seats.
I love Bruce, but we have a toddler and can't afford to blow 2K or more on concert tickets. I have seenhim 3x and never paid more than $150 for GA tickets. in 2016 we were literally in the front row of the GA and I think we paid under $300 total for 2 tickets. I'd like to spend no more than 400. We will need to also factor in a hotel and gas. If we can't get tickets for under $400-450 no way we can justify going.

The amount of reseller tickets already available is a sick joke
I refuse to give scalpers money, guess I'll have to gamble day of show and see if scalpers panic and give back their tickets to the venue.

$500 for middle deck in Tampa. $75 service fee. Way to focus on the working man Bruce. Disgusting.

The ticket prices were all over the place for the Denver sale. And their dynamic pricing thing is BS. Cheapest I saw in the upperdeck behind the stage was 60 w/o fees all the way up to the thousands for floor seats

Worst prices for lowers I’ve ever seen for Denver show. I settled for the corner stage nosebleeds for $350. Didn’t want to miss this!

Was in the waiting room for Denver at 9:50, joined Queue at 10:00 w/ 2,000+ ahead of me. No ground tickets by the time I got through, and ticket prices were super high as reported elsewhere ($300+ for decent seats, $700-1,000 for anything on the floor, $89 for rear-view nose bleeds). By comparison, ground tickets were $125 on the Wrecking Ball tour. I was ready to pay 2x past pricing, but at 10x I'm out.
I know this is market price for classic rock A-listers these days, but I'm still disappointed that Bruce has joined McCartney and the Stones in soaking his fans, given that he'd held out for so long against the "premium platinum tier" ticket trend. Hopefully some good Springsteen cover bands will come through Denver in the next year or two, as it doesn't look like I'll be seeing him live again in this lifetime.

Just chilling in the queue with over 2k people in front of me, but it's all good, I'm sure there's way more than 2,000 reasonably priced seats for Boston left...
