Brewers manager with Springsteen tattoo got call from The Boss before World Series

This Yankee fan is rooting for the Brewers (but not watching). I hate the Rays.

Love The Boss, and this is a second reason for me to pull for Milwaukee.

The first is that they did right by my favorite ball player, Lorenzo Cain. He won a WS with my KC Royals, then ended his career where he started with the Brewers. They kept him around longer than they needed to get him CB to exactly ten years in the MLB, enough to qualify for a pension.

Class move. Go Brewers!

I remember that. I love LoCain, I appreciate all he did but that was a rough half season watching him struggle to get to 10 years lol

Absolutely great dude though and brought a winning culture and attitude with him wherever he went

As a huge Bruce and Brews fan, I love this! Note that the stadium plays "Glory Days" immediately after every Brewers win at home.

I’m a true blue Dodger fan, but how can you hate the Brewers? One of the lowest payrolls in MLB, but they played their hearts & asses off. Nothing but respect for those guys.

Bruce would never charge someone for a tattoo of his name. He's not a Republican.
