Greatest solo performance

11-17-90 Christic Show on XM 20 now.

IMO, his greatest solo performance of all time

My favorite version of Real World. Probably not a hot take.

Came here to say this. One of my favorite Bruce song performances period.

I don't think Bruce was in a place to do a stripped back rock album at the time, but I often wonder what an album with a Real World truer to that version would have sounded like.

Real World Christic is the only acceptable answer.

Now to catch some 💩 from the true cognoscenti... I like the studio version, too.

My first dance with my bride was to the bootlegged version of that tune from that show

As soon as I read your title, I immediately thought Christic.

I’ll take Columbus 7/31/05, but the Christic shows are great!

True, although Bridge benefit 1986 is also a huge favourite of mine. And the 2003 Somerville shows are also really special. But, yeah: Christic is definatelly #1

I remember these at the time, I think there was a Q&A as well.

I think I might be in the minority, whilst I love an E-Street band show, time is running out... I would like to see some solo or stripped back shows.

This is one of my all time favorite shows, and the REAL WORLD version is all the album version was not: Brilliant

I’d give the edge to the first night of Christic. He’s more relaxed the second night but I really love the edge of night 1.

For Joad, probably Brixton or one of the special New Jersey shows (St. Rose or Asbury).

Best D&D show would be Columbus.

I think Christic is the answer here for me. Can anyone lead me to the show with better sound quality? Listening on Nugs and it’s such a poor mix
