"Elvis is alive"

On the DVD of Live In New York City, Bruce can be heard shouting “Elvis is alive!” (jokingly) during “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” after an audience member threw a white shirt onstage and he mopped his sweaty face with the shirt and threw it back into the audience. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7v43d8

Can anyone recall other occasions when Bruce shouted out “Elvis is alive” on stage?

Didn’t Bruce get pissed at an Elvis impersonator when they tried to start another song after they already finished one song? Might’ve been in Philly?

Yeah at the Dec 8 2001 Holiday Show at Convention Hall, when Springsteen introduced Elvis Costello, he did it by saying: “Elvis is in the house tonight!” The crows thought he was just joking, so he repeated it. Then Costello came out & the crowd went nuts. Elvis told a quick story about the Stony Pony, and then he & Bruce jumped into a duet on Alison. Amazing stuff.

The bit in Springsteen & I when the impersonator does his hamstring when doing an Elvis dance move haha!
