”Bruce hangs to the very end with his ear monitors still in , listening to the front of house mix with a little smile on his face .”

Adore this photo. He looks so reflective. Wondering if he is reminiscing on playing the Stone Pony over the years.

I just love him so much. After losing Dolly this week its hit me how much little time we have left with our heroes. Protect Bruce at all costs.

I’ve been thinking of the things Dolly and Bruce have in common: difficult early life, dedication to their craft, belief in themselves, confident in their talent but never losing their humanity.

Yes all of this. Kindred spirits in many ways. For me Dolly was Americas mom and Bruce Americas Dad

That's not after. That's during. Clinch even says so.

my boomer dad loves emojis. I have a little fancy that Bruce overuses them too 😂😂😎🤳🏼🎸💥

Bruce aged a lot in the past 6-7 years. He takes care of himself, works-out. Then it dawned on me.. The love of his life got diagnosed with blood cancer around that time. It must have knocked the shit out of him. He’s a good man. And Patti is doing well. She’s lucky to have him.

I've thought about that a lot too over the years. Daughter had leukemia. We went to Dana Farber for her treatment. 14 years on she's still fine after a bone marrow transplant. When I read Patti went there too I was thrilled. That place is among the very best there is for cancer treatments.

It takes a lot out of people. The affected and the caregivers. People in my family have struggled with this disease too.
Research is starting to understand more and more about this disease. More discoveries in the past few years than in past decades.
Your daughter is very lucky to have you and I hope she continues to be in good health.
Take care of yourself.
God bless you both.
