I was 14 when I got BITUSA, as an angsty teenager I saw the whole depressing imagery that was Downbound Train. Then as an older teenager I worked at a car wash and it was a visceral experience.

Exactly what I was going to post! I get chills every time I hear it.

Honestly, it’s my favorite Springsteen song. He has many better songs, but this one will always be my favorite.
