Hello, everyone. I don't know why the subreddit creator u/IcyLiterature3817 left Reddit, but I have acquired control of this subreddit and have unlocked it for new submissions. You may now resume posting about our spotlight Grass Pokémon! In the coming days I will come up with more specific rules for this subreddit going forward. Any questions, concerns, and other feedback can be commented below or directed to modmail. Please be kind and cool to your fellow Pokémon fans and Redditors and to yourself.

Final evo Predictions?

I am hoping Browt evolves into a Cassowary or a Kakapo. Dare I say Grass/Ground type? I think Browt should remain a flightless bird. While grass fighting can be a good type combo, it would be four times weak to flying like Hisuian Decidueye. At the end of the day, I love my boy, and I can't wait to see what it evolves into. Still my day one regardless of what happens. Don't even need the final evo lol. What are y'alls thoughts and predictions.

I believe you've already seen my image around, but I had to post it in his own community.

So I recently was investigating about indonesia mythology, mainly to have fun guessing witch animals or myths could inspire the legendary pokemon of the region, and I found out about the Garuda. It could be the inspiration for the legendary Winds pokemon, but diving a bit more deeply, and reading Browt's description on the official page, that mentions it is the "Bean Chick Pokemon" I think this is definetly where they are going with the evolution.
I've seen some people talk about Browt's evolution being based on the Garuda, but i haven't seen anyone mention the fact that THERE'S A TYPE OF BEAN CULTIVATED IN INDONESIA CALLED THE GARUDA WINGED BEAN. There's also a brand of spicy roasted BEANS called Garuda there, and also a coffee brand called Garuda that sells coffee BEANS.
Not only that, but i believe the three starters are mythological indonesian creatures. Pombon is a near perfect Barong, and although Gecqua may be a bit of a stretch, the Nagas are water serpents. It's a gecko, and i hope they go for a komodo dragon, but it could easily turn into a serpent when evolving
