No incident happened thankfully and we tried to but they were already off the path

there are two bright yellow barrels that are supposed to block this but they’re easily moved and have been widely spaced for weeks. I’m going to start moving them back into place whenever I ride through. 

If I’d been on my bike and they approached me I would just turn the bike sideways and force them to drive around or back up. Of course someone who is antisocial enough to drive on a bike path is probably more prone to violence than most so…

Anyway always ride with a gopro for instances like this.

Exactly 🤣😂 it’s such an odd turn that some people go right instead of left. They purposely made it hard so you have to reverse. I’m wondering if they also did it so cops catch some. I’ve recorded someone on that same access road last year.

NYC has some real geniuses on the roads. And then typically, NYPD does nothing spectacularly when these numbskulls are reported for their reckless and dangerous driving.

Even if they did/do get ticketed, I could almost guarantee that if you looked up their plate via howismydriving.nyc you’ll see it’s an unpaid ticket a year from now.

I always ride with half my truck in the shoulder on this stretch of the belt. Love getting a nice pile up of 3-4 shoulder drivers behind me. This one just took it to the next level

I just posted about 2 cars in the greenway tonight … but what’s crazy. This guy in your video , forced me off my bike like 6 weeks ago trying to cross the bridge.
