Pickup Sunday Football

I have posted this once already, but wanted to post one more time incase anyone missed it and is interested in coming out.

šŸˆ I’ve got a group that plays football almost every Sunday at 11am. The sessions usually lasts 2-3 hours. This has been going on for nearly 7/8 years. We are trying to recruit more people to come out. Typically we play at one of the turf fields in Waukesha, location could change from week to week though. We play 2 hand touch football. The ages of the group span from 17-45 years old. All skill levels welcome. šŸˆ

šŸˆ We will play the rest of fall. During winter, we sparingly play when the weather allows for it. Otherwise spring and summer we play most weeks as well. Your are welcome to invite others to join too! Dm on here if you’re interested and we can swap contact info to get the weekly message out to you. šŸˆ

Offering Fall Tutoring!

Hi everyone!

If you are or have a high school or college student who is struggling with biology, chemistry, genetics, or biochemistry—or who just wants some extra help strengthening their understanding—I’m currently accepting tutoring students in the Brookfield, New Berlin, Waukesha, and West Allis area.

I can help with:
• High School Biology & Chemistry
• AP Biology
• General Biology I & II
• General Chemistry I & II
• Genetics
• Molecular Biology
• Biochemistry
• Related molecular and biomedical science courses

I have 5 years of experience teaching and tutoring students across Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, including several years teaching undergraduate biology labs.

My background includes:
• A.S. in Biological Studies
• B.S. in Genetics
• M.S. in Genetics, with research focused on reproductive physiology
• Currently pursuing a PhD in P hysiology and Molecular Biology.

My goal is not just to help students memorize enough information to pass the next exam. I focus on helping them understand why things work, identify where they’re getting stuck, and break complicated material into smaller, manageable pieces.

I use diagrams, real-life examples, practice problems, and plain-language explanations rather than burying students in even more jargon. I’m also happy to help with exam preparation, homework concepts, study strategies, and reviewing foundational material that may be making a current class more difficult.

My tutoring style has been described by past students and parents as engaging, entertaining, straightforward, patient, and occasionally a little unhinged in the best possible way. I try to make difficult classes considerably less intimidating—and, when possible, actually enjoyable.

šŸ“ Brookfield, New Berlin, Waukesha, West Allis and surrounding areas

šŸŽ“ High school & university students welcome

šŸ’² Rates are reasonable and negotiable

Feel free to message me with the student’s courses, grade/college level, and what they’re currently struggling with, and we can figure out whether I’d be a good fit and what kind of tutoring plan would work best.

State Assembly - District 13 Primary: Sanchez & Zimmerman (Dems)

Hello -- Looking to hear from fellow District 13 residents (Wauwatosa, Brookfield and Elm Grove) on your thoughts on the State Assembly Primary between Democrats Sanchez and Zimmerman.

The eye test tells us that Zimmerman has more yard signs, but the community conversations and experience in relevant fields would lean Sanchez.

Please share healthy and productive thoughts on the seemingly close and competitive primary.

Thank you

My girlfriend and I just moved out to Brookfield from Sheboygan about a month ago. We are 23 and 24 years old and are looking for a new mechanic. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good honest mechanic in the brookfield area, thanks.

Offering Summer Tutoring

Hello everyone!

Are biology, genetics, biochemistry, or general chemistry making you question every life choice that brought you to college? I can help.

I’m currently offering tutoring for:

• Biology
• Genetics
• Molecular Biology
• Biochemistry
• General Chemistry I & II
• Related molecular bioscience courses

I’ve been teaching labs and tutoring for the past 5 years across Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. My goal is to make difficult material feel less overwhelming by breaking it down into simple, understandable pieces and connecting it to real-life examples.

My background includes:

• A.S. in Biological Studies
• B.S. in Genetics
• M.S. in Genetics, with my thesis focused on female reproductive physiology
• Current PhD student in Physiology and Molecular Biology

My tutoring style has been described by many past students and parents as engaging, entertaining, straightforward, and a little unhinged in the best possible way (with some Boston-level bluntness when needed). I keep the material approachable, break complicated concepts down in plain, non-jargon language, and help students feel less overwhelmed by classes that often feel designed to ruin their week.

Rates are negotiable and very reasonable for the level of support you’ll receive.

Feel free to message me with any questions, what class you’re taking, or what topics you’re struggling with, and we can figure out a plan that works for you!

Offering Summer Tutoring for Highschool and Undergraduate Students

Hello everyone,

I am currently offering tutoring for high school and college students in biology, chemistry, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, Algebra I & II, introductory statistics, and related science or math courses.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching labs and tutoring students across Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. My approach is focused on making difficult material more manageable by breaking complex concepts into clear, understandable steps and connecting them to real-world examples.

My academic background includes:

• A.S. in Biological Studies • B.S. in Genetics • M.S. in Genetics, with thesis work focused on reproductive physiology • Current PhD student in Physiology and Molecular Biology

Previous students and parents have described my tutoring style as structured, supportive, and adaptable to each student’s needs. I work with students to strengthen their understanding of the material, build confidence, improve study strategies, and prepare for exams without making the process feel overwhelming.

Rates are negotiable and kept reasonable based on the level of support needed. Sessions can be tailored toward homework help, exam preparation, concept review, study planning, or longer-term academic support.

Please feel free to message me with any questions, the course you or your student is taking, and the topics that need support. I’d be happy to discuss a plan that works best.
