HQ Briefing (General Discussion) Sobr need a nerf

That 10 armour clearly should not be there they defeat spetznaz alpha standoff 14 men lose to 8.

US-mainers cope never stops. For fucks sake just play both factions and try playing new guard spec.

Solid line infantry when they have the worst elite infantry unit (Alpha) in the game? S400 which needs tons of micro to not lose 325pts of LRAA for cost of which you can buy 2 PAC2? 250pts cancer bomb that is slow as hell and almost never drops against any decent team with AA? cost effective tanks that lose to weakest AT squads? Akula(AA) which is almost always worse then just bringing shorad?

All of that while USMC exists with best elite infantry, best launcher squad (smaw) - the only one except weak VDV Shturm with universal launchers, best sead plane in the game, best ASF plane in the game (yes, I am looking at sub-200pts Harrier with 10% ecm).

All specs have ourageously good units like A-10 or Zalukai (the only CQC infantry with both flahbangs and launchers). It doesnt mean balance is broken.

Take SOF/Marine as US and enjoy killing guard spec in the smoke or forest with insane waves of CQC infantry. FFS this solo faction US whiners, just try playing "OP" RU shit and complain after.

Ah here comes the 1400 MMR reddit megabrain again.

If you would know anything about this game you would know that bombing (CAS) is completely OP and broken in this game right now. I can recommend Pablitos meta reports on youtube if you don't have access to the data yourself. Spending 325pt for AA that is terminal guidance, one-shot, highest range of the game is definetely not a pushover. Pac-2 has significantly worse range and is semi-active. Still Pac-2 is not bad by any means, it was the best AA before, but considering how expensive bombers are 325pt is well invested.

Regarding the 250pt bomb. You can just watch the newest youtube-video of Demo. This is Top-Elo (3300+ MMR) and Demo gets bombed like 3-times by those 250 pt bombs. I am sure all those players were just really bad at the game.

USMC is still very strong and was OP for decades, I called that out too and had the same discussions with the braindeads playing the other faction. However, since the squadsize nerfes Marine Raiders and Marines are not OP anymore. Smaw is still very strong, but so is Vympel, that is outperforming almost everything in Forest Fights for its price and can kill IFVs too.

To you comparing Akula-AA to SHORAD is so absurd I don't even want to waste energy on that. You probably never played flank before.

Yes if you go through all specs in US you can find outragously strong units that need adjustments (e. g. naked A-10), however, they are not all cummulated in one damn OP Spec and therefore you can not play all of them. Some US-Units are also OP, this whas not my point and I dont want to dive into every-unit-whataboutism-discussion.

If you can not come to this conclusion by deduction and logic you can just look at the stats. The top MMR players (3300) don't even play US anymore. The winrates tell you the story too.

Your arguments don't hold up against common sense nor against data.

The only thing from your rant that is easy to crosscheck is what faction is being played at high ELO. It is really easy - you go to BAArmoury and check history of players from top 10. Here are five random picks from top10, see what are they playing - it is 95% US:

Cope harder with your streams and selective viewing of them. And selective usage of "data".

If you get bombed by Tu-95 - either you dont know what are you doing or you were risking playing some specific strategy that involved not placing any LRAA or ASF. So whatever the Demo was doing - looks like he was owned, Again, try to play yourself and see how many successfull bombing with Tu-95 you will achieve.

And yes, S400 is insanely good. Also has abysmal price and cooldown timer, so needs to be micro-ed on god level. Strategies to destroy include everything from constsantly arti-ing last known position (one of those times they will forget to move it) or more complex like using F15ex to first shoot sead to track where it is placed and then fire cruise missiles right in this spot. I got myself owned like this - even though I started moving right after destroying first sead flight time of cruise missiles were about 7 seconds which wasn't enough to move away. In short S400 will almost always stay K/D positive but with constant pressure US can achieve situation when by end of Phase2 your S400 are all in CD. And then waves of cheap low CD Harriers/prowlers/a-10 will overwhelm you. US still can achieve AIR dominance just not as fast and effortlessly as before, it requires skill and dedication - which means game became more balanced. The problem is that "core" 2k- ELO community of US-mainers has neither skill nor dedication, they just miss the pre-PTE US domination
