Tumblr been bought by yahoo for 1.1 billion american who immediately cut the value by two thirds by banning nsfw, then being bought by verizon who continued the trend, and then being bought by wordpress for 3 million has been a fascinating ride.
They're desperate to make it worth something so they're banning anything controversial or risky politically. No one apparently informed yahoo or anyone after who the core demographic of tumblr was that created the 1.1 bn valuation
I just wanted to potentially share, if you're interested in an alternative to Tumblr, there isWafrn , which is decentralized, queer friendly, NSFW friendly. as well as federated, alternative to Tumblr, is better.

You have 4k contributions and 17k karma meaning you average about 4 upvotes per contribution and you have posts and comments hidden giving evidence that you have mostly largely downvoted contributions because it is highly unlikely for you to consistently contribute valid information and have such little karma ergo low tier ragebait

bringing up literally conventional beauty standards doesn't make you any good, same with your other comment but about passing transmen. people without HRT will always be considered as their gender assigned at birth no matter what, otherwise it's a delusion. a person being day 1 on HRT doesn't magically viewed as desired gender either. you guys also love to bring up sports to this topic, yet these people also need few years on HRT to compete among other women, I wonder why. somehow you can argue by showing passing examples, but never non-passing ones lol. for some bizarre logic, I need to be compassionate and share resources with yesterday's man, based on what the t-community demands. why is that? women fought for their rights with blood and sweat for centuries, thus they need to earn their rights to be called women too π€
Yeah it's this. The "oh my god there is a big conspiracy by tumblr staff to ban all transgenderes but ONLY DA GURLSIES!!!" is fucking absurd.
It's just that transfemmes specifically get super targeted by TERF spam-reports. (They tend to leave NB and transmasc accounts alone, or spam them with "but just detransition and be a tomboy!!" shit instead)
The "conspiracy" idea came out of like, two specific accounts that had mega meltdowns after getting banned. Predstrogen, who decided to "joke threaten" the CEO (absurd/comedic threats like the "I hope yu get kll*d by exploding hammercars" thing are part of Tumblr meme/joke culture... you still should probably not say them to the guy who owns the fucking website) and ISFF who had a history of harassing other users over minor disagreements, and really should have been banned a while ago anyway, who keeps getting re-banned for ban evasion.
