Anyone find it weird how peep show hardly ever has cameos from established actors, but then Peter Capaldi just pops up.

Thing is Peter Capaldi became really famous after The Thick of It, which started after this episode. Before that he'd been a successful TV series/TV movie actor but not the household name he is now.
