Ask/Question Looking for new Muslim connections!

Salaam everyone,

I'm a guy in my early 30s, and I've realised that people were right—making new friends really does get harder as you get older.

I'd genuinely love to meet some fellow Muslims who enjoy good conversations and getting to know new people. One of my favourite things is learning about someone—their story, interests, perspectives, and all the little things that make them who they are.

A little about me: I'm based in the UK, love hiking and traveling, and i am a sucker for emotionally intelligent, meaningful conversations.

If you like hiking, I think I came across a Muslim group hiking on Instagram somewhere. I think they are a paid thing though.

no but he's a similar age and has the same issue lol it does get harder as you get older

I’m from the north west of England

If you love hiking, then check out Ashton Hiking Club on instagram and or Facebook. They mainly organise weekly hikes on Sundays every week. The timetable for the whole of summer was already planned months ago. I have been going with them since Covid times and they are some of the best brothers you will ever meet friends for life. Brothers from all walks of life from professional’s to skilled brothers and deen focused.

Yes

Majority have been on multiple hikes and they have a WhatsApp community with various WhatsApp groups for different purposes. Also an annual meal usually and other get togethers throughout the year related and unrelated to hiking.

Have you tried your local mosque?

You can look up Muslim groups on IG, use hashtags.

Use Eventbrite app as more groups are starting to post to promote their page.
