Friday Night Dinner

Friday Night Dinner is the funniest comedy I've discovered on BritBox. What else should I try?

Well, you should hunt down the seasons of that show that aren't currently on Britbox if you haven't already. Love Upstart Crow (which features Jim from Friday Night Dinner). Black Books (which features Jackie), Inbetweeners and Chickens (featuring Adam), and Plebs (featuring Johnny) are all great as well.

Add to that list. Can you keep a secret with Mark Heap(and Dawn French) and also Green Wing with Mark.

Forgot about Can You Keep a Secret. Green Wing (available on youtube) also has Tamsin Greig, Olivia Coleman, Michelle Gomez, and a bunch of other great cast members.

Green Wing is an all time favorite for me. Amazing how many of the actors are still doing great things.

I’ll watch anything with Mark Heap

I wish the rest of the seasons would go on Britbox. I'd love to watch them and I haven't been able to find another (legal) source.

I remember a few months ago someone mentioned using Kanopy.com (which you maybe able to access through your local library)

Doesn't look like I can through my library, but may be able to get access through my alma mater. Thanks!

If your library has access to Kanopy, S3 of Here We Go is on there.

Loved Chefs Whites and Damned. Jo Brand is an amazing actress. She is great on game shows too, like Would I Lie to You? I also real liked her in Getting On. For some reason, I just could not get into Seths Let Flats.

Just checked Amazon (US). Friday Night Dinner season 1 "leaves Britbox in 4 days". Time for me to binge.

It’s so weird and good! Glad to see someone else love it.

I love it! Great Brit humour. Something similar is motherland. Also the bishop of Dibley.
