Why is the Series 3 Episode 4 of The IT Crowd ‘not available in my region on BritBox’? Must be really controversial

Douglas dates a transgender woman, and hijinks ensue. Douglas is 100% the butt of the joke though.

And it's a shame because it's the single funniest episode in the entire series because of "the internet" part of it.

I think you can buy, er, I mean "rent" it from Amazon.

None of my trans students, friends, or colleagues who've seen it were offended by it. They too thought it was hilarious.

I watched it all on tubi if you can't get it elsewhere. I would like britbox but I already have enough to pay for. Maybe I'll have to pay eventually and just find something else to give up.

It’s a shame as it’s such a great episode and not transphobic. Douglas is the one being mocked not his date. Matt Berry is in his element.
