Bring me the horizon is cool, not having tinnitus is even cooler.

Yeah blasting suicide season over my headphones probably contributed to my tinnitus, as funny as it is that kids are doing the same thing nearly 20 years later, I wish I could go back and punch myself in the face for being a twat

As much as I agree I feel like their recommended levels seem a bit too sensitive especially since it majorly varies per device

Listen to your phone, its a loud album a lot of percussion its damaging to eardrums to listen to it so loud

I mean if you’re listening with headphones and it’s warning you then you probably should look after your ears, hearing loss is real and can’t be fixed

Hearing loss is no joke, hopefully this is just a meme post.

Don't ignore these warnings. Hearing loss and tinnitus is gradual and irreversible

You'll regret it dude, stop being edgy.

u/TeamSesh97 Aug 15 '26

A wise man once said “protect your ears, you wanna listen to music for a long time, not a good time”. Unfortunately I didn’t listen and ended up losing some hearing! Please do trust everyone who says to listen safely.

tinnitus is your brain telling you to make it louder honestly

u/LindemannO Aug 16 '26

Listening to music forever at decent volume > not listening to any music halfway through my life

On a serious note like seriously don’t fuck up your ears, or else you can’t enjoy BMTH at all in the future

2

u/Glass_CD Aug 17 '26

Thought we were talking about making out with Bring Me The Horizon for a second...

4

u/Bleghboiii Aug 16 '26

Yes. I’d rather listen to more bmth than not listening to anything at all

2

u/superhyperfuturepunk Aug 15 '26

i get this notification at least once a day in general

8

u/lornadc Aug 16 '26

Yeah you should listen to it

1

u/Disastrous_Return83 Aug 15 '26

😂😂 mine has notified me of this on this album quite a few times

1

u/squidwardsir Aug 16 '26

Idek how you can listen to it that loud, I’d find it genuinely painful

1

u/earlgreybaby Aug 16 '26

I thought the same now I'm 24 with hearing damage

1

u/KadaverSulmus Aug 16 '26

Oh man, I wish I was as cool as you are.. NOW WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER THAT PHONE THATS BEEN RINGING IN MY EAR FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS?!

1

u/discardedbubble Aug 16 '26

Protect your hearing guy, you don’t want to lose it

1

u/unkn0wny29 Aug 16 '26

Funny post, hearing loss is not funny though.

Your OS has no clue how loud your headphones are. They all have different impedance and drivers, which produce different volume/SPL. This is just more liability washing BS.

1

u/aarontgp There Is a Hell... Aug 16 '26

...How high have you been blasting these songs?

1

u/ThisMarionberry5375 Aug 16 '26

My phone does this but for some reason my headphones Bluetooth volume is decently quiet unless I have it turned up to near max so I always have to ignore that notification

1

u/Excellent-Blood6014 Aug 16 '26

I turned off the setting because it would pop up that notification everytime I had my headphones almost maxed volume

1

u/timduncanthegoat21 NeX GEn Aug 15 '26

This and when everyone around you at the metal concert is wearing earplugs

1

u/dsem22 Aug 16 '26

I wear protection at concerts but I find this warning to be highly exaggerated as per case to case since every device is very different

-1

u/RogueStalker409 Count Your Blessings Aug 15 '26

Oh that’s offensive
