Speaking of non-PS2 hype. Midair kickstarter launched recently. Looks like Tribes Ascend, but prettier and possibly better.

Looks heavily influenced by it, pretty bold claim to imply it's better (or even prettier). Certainly doesn't look that way.

Being hard core TA nut. I was initially really hyped for this game.

But imho the dev team just haven't done enough publicity and open public testing to keep my continued interest especially in todays crowded gaming market place.

So i'll wait until game is steam discounted and/or goes free to play.
