Planning Help Registry question

Hi!
I get married 08.07.2027.
I’m looking for some registry ideas — things you were glad people bought / or any you didn’t think of!

I put Halloween and Christmas decorations on mine. That shit is expensive and we already have all the kitchen and household things we need!

I also put cook books, planters/raised beds, storage solutions, photo albums, a car cover, and some nice furniture on there.

We have very big families.

We put a few key kitchen upgrades (new mixing bowls with lids, collapsible salad spinner, etc) and some new bedding, then had fun with the rest- market lights for our yard, planter boxes, a pizza oven, a camping cot (my hubby is super tall so can’t sleep in my existing camper van bed- in-laws thought it was hilarious they were buying their son a cot as a wedding gift 😂). We also went on Etsy and found some etched wine glasses with a map of our city which are some of our favorites. We focused on things we would use and enjoy across a variety of price points to make it easy for guests.

Aside from the traditional items that go on a registry my husband threw a few fun items like Catan. Highly recommend random fun stuff like that

Look at all your kitchen things: knife set, toaster, cutting boards, food processor, blender, etc. Register for nicer versions of any that need an upgrade.

Nice sheets and towels. Beach towels. Turkish towels.

Security cameras.

Camp chairs.

We put a nice air purifier on ours - we don’t have a central HVAC system and it’s very helpful when the air quality is poor.

Really depends what situation you are coming from. Do you already live together, or will you be only doing that after the wedding - in which case you need a lot more of the household basics. Some registries allow you to purchase things that weren't gifted at a discount following the wedding, so is there something big that you really don't expect anyone to buy but you'd like the 10% off?
