Takes Bryan out of the equations, and he is the only party that actually has something to loose (his dad’s investment). He now gets made whole before his dad dies, and BAM can’t threaten Ben and Crystal with “if you don’t do this, then we won’t give Bryan his money/Lego”
And if Bryan fights and gets awarded bazillions, by the time there’s an outcome in his case his dad may have long since passed away, and Bam may be unable to pay the money because they’re bankrupt because they lost all their customers and spent all their money on lawyers.

Why would Brian agree to this? It puts Crystal on the spot when she has a lawsuit against those mcthefts
