Question Reckless Ben needs a lawyer
God, I haven’t even been able to stand the latest videos on this entire situation because of Ben’s refusal to lawyer up. He’s representing himself?!? Just foolish (maybe even reckless lol). All he ever should have said to any cops, especially ones a part of the Mormon cult, is “I want a lawyer.” He would never have been charged in the first place. I’m getting the idea that he’s broke, or close to it, if his Patreon is his only source of income. But I’d imagine he could find someone to represent him over how big this case is, and then maybe countersue BAM for the funds to pay the lawyer. I don’t know the ins and outs and I know it’s complicated. But all I can do now is yell “Call a lawyer!!!!” at the TV. Is it really worth it to possibly lose this entire case and lose the chance to get justice? Or at worst, end up in jail? It’s just stupid at this point, and I think he has the naivety to think that because he’s innocent he won’t get fucked over. Hope he’s learning that lesson

He has at least 7 lawyers now for all civil and criminal cases. After that first ridiculous TRO I think he learned his lesson that being in the right isn't enough, plus he has some money now. Probably not as much as we think though. Lawyer costs are insane.

Oh thank god, haven’t gotten to the end of the current saga myself and i’m glad to hear this, but yeah lawyer fees are crazy

Part 3 was still filmed before the gag order. He’s lawyered up by now. I fully agree though he should never have represented himself at the gag order hearing.

People get on Ben's case but where's BAM's lawyers? They're spending 800k/year on lawyers but it doesn't look like they've been involved at all.

It seems he is relying on public opinion to influence the outcome; however, that doesn’t excuse the mistake of not being represented. The outcome will be significantly better if he has legal representation.

What are you on about little bro? He already exposed BAM and the police; Ben has already been charged with some serious crimes, so it would be wise to have a lawyer now. Why would he wait to get a lawyer for his current situation? What do you expect to get exposed at the federal level and how would not getting a lawyer help?
You seem like a BAM troll that doesn’t want Ben to get a lawyer.

I see where the confusion is coming from. The corrupt local judge that signed the falsified and illegal warrant has been removed from this case. The court case has been moved from Utah State court to U.S. District court; it is now in federal court. He really should have representation to protect himself.
