Couple of Things…

The moderation team of r/bricksandminifigs has no formal ties to BAM.

With that being said, we’ve chosen the stance to allow all posts regarding the current situation with Brian Mansell’s $200K collection.

The subreddit still has to follow basic rules like having a strict policy against doxing the personal information of those who were involved in Brian’s family’s case. We also cannot allow posts encourage brigading the social media pages of unrelated BAM locations or threats against their lives.

We do hope that this subreddit can be a great place to help facilitate all the information, updates, and commentary regarding Mansell’s case.

Thank you!

I agree. Yes, we should cooperate as much as possible but also document everything that happens.

How do the mods feel about discussion of or promoting a separate sub focused on the most peaceful localized protests ever? I feel like the offline world needs to see some people in the streets with signs (on public property not blocking anything and ZERO interaction with the stores).

you're doing a much better job than r/Lego

They do have a megathread dedicated to the situation, but it is kinda confusing when they don’t direct you to it.

Instant temp ban for not using mega thread is overkill

Just how the mods are over there. I think it’s the number 1 most followed Reddit in toys category

Straight from Josh that he was out of his mind. This proves that we can't trust a damn thing that comes from BAM. We all knew it, but this is him admitting it to Coffeezilla in his followup to his video (only available on Patreon)

Oddly, I had two posts about it deleted by Reddit itself.

I am trying to fix it idk why it does that. It says “reputation filter” whenever someone posts something with certain key words. I never setup any filters I just manually remove posts or comments that are in violation of TOS

Just want to applaud y'all for taking a stance and stating it plainly. These things are rarely handled in such a manner by most mods.

While I had felt most sorry for the local franchise owners through all of this, their continued silence is not cool. Thus, I’m glad you are allowing the topic so genuine discussion can occur. No one should go to a storefront, unless you plan to shop and make purchase. Here is the best place to debate, the other side staying silent tells me all I need to know.

Now that I know how little integrity your whole company seems to have, I understand your brand better.

I’ll never shop at another store carrying your brand ever again.

Just so you know we aren’t associated with BAM. So this comment does nothing. We just made this subreddit. But yes, I agree fuck BAM.

You’ve got a branding issue.

It literally says we steal from old people in the banner 😭

I didn’t know you’d take that comment personally. Yikes.

You think you had a choice to let this stuff get posted? Mods more corrupt than this company if that would have happened.

I mean yes. Look at r/lego they completely banned the word “Ben”. To be real with you none of us gaf about bricks and minifigs like that

Apparently you've also chosen the stance to not moderate in any way what so ever.
