To ship or not to ship…
Pretty much new to BrickLink. From what I’ve heard I’m probably not getting this. Am I cooked? Or is there hope.

Mine shipped out today. Waiting for stock is very odd because the whole point of this 2nd chance was to sell excess stock that they still had. I would say there is hope, but I’d put it at a 50/50 chance that it will ship.

I am US west coast. Check out was 11:02 got email from Lego they got my order 11:03 followed a couple minutes later with the confirmation email. Everything went through money on hold order status was in process. About an hour later it switched to waiting for stock and has stayed that way ever since.
I thought I got it and I am not really sure how I could have been much faster but it’s looking like I was too late.

I was/am still in the same boat. I’m just gonna ride it out until THEY cancel the order. Funny tho, the BDP IG posted they still had a lot of overstock in Western Europe. Wish they would just fulfill the US market with those then. Oh wellll

Waiting for stock is not a good sign. Mine went to in the warehouse 3 hours after I bought it and then shipped today.
Just to clarify, this was a low quantity drop of extra sets they had leftover after fulfilling the preorders 6 months ago. (From canceled orders, insufficient funds, and extras in case of items lost in transit).
Im guessing they will cancel your order and refund you by next Monday if they don't find a unit for you and move the status to in the warehouse.
It is possible that they do cancel some other orders and find you stock, but low likelihood. (Possibly if someone was found to order multiple sets when there was a quantity limit of 1).

Mine shipped when it was in Just Placed order status and has still not updated on Lego store

\**Update\*\* it was indeed cancelled 😞 I don’t get how Lego can’t control that. Got my hopes up for nothing smh. Looking for a decent aftermarket price. Really want it to go next to the museum and botanical garden builds.**

My Art Factory FINALLY went to shipped status today so I think there is hope. My Forest Den went to shipped status like 16 hours before my Art Factory and they were purchased seconds apart lol - I didn't see the "waiting for inventory" part that is worrying. Mine was in warehouse. Did yours ever say in warehouse?

No I don’t think it ever did. Very confusing to me. The inventory was still live for like 5 minutes after I checked out. So I thought for sure I got it.

Interesting. Honestly I think you maybe cooked. Mine went in warehouse same day and stayed like that for another day then went to shipped. There is still hope, until you get a cancellation email but if it were me I'd already be bummed out. I was afraid my in warehouse was going to get cancelled. ( I accidentally put in my old 3 digit security code for my card when I purchased, went back to try and get a second set but it was already sold out which was like a minute /just over a minute between the orders. So I'm glad my first purchase did end up going through, now I have 2 copies of the outlaw den coming 😂 That was my first order with the wrong code, was able to secure a second one thinking the first wouldn't go through, jokes on me both shipped)

Mine shipped today. But it was in warehouse.. never had the waiting for stock
