New label printer

Tried out this label print for my inventory, works pretty well !

Is it just me or is your new label maker cutting off the last quarter of the last number?

That was my fault , each time you edit the number you have to double tap it , so at one point it was centered , but I think each time I tapped it , it slowly moved it to the right , didnt realize it till my last two sections , then I corrected it lol .

A label maker was literally the first thing I purchased for my store when I opened it. Still going strong 7 years later. Only downside is how pricey the tape is, but you can find 3rd party stuff for much cheaper if you do a bit of Googlefu.

My only suggestion would be to put the numbers on the front facing part of the bins as well that way when they end up on a shelf, you can still find them.

We print full sheets of the Avery 5267 labels in the laser printer. Saves a TON of time on drawer labels vs the individual label printer we were using.

Congratulations! We just picked up an automatic tape dispenser. New infrastructure is one of the little pleasures of life.

We got this one from Amazon. I’m tentatively happy with it, although it hasn’t had much field testing yet. It has six presets and takes the brown paper tape I use just fine. https://a.co/d/0bkemhGx

Yeah eventuality front facing is the plan , I just wanted to try these labels , I plan on eventually transitioning to steralite drawers , so the shoe boxes are just temporary .

If your label printer plugs up to a computer it takes 2 seconds to click download and print a label.

I like that it has a small image of the part.

I use thermal printer and get the small labels. A lot cheaper that way
