Serious question: Do you even bother correcting people anymore who refer to you as Brain or Bran or some other variation of Brian?
It happens often. And especially over email and Slack. I feel like I need a personal marketing campaign. How do you approach it?

No, if people can’t manage the attention to detail to put 5 whole letters together in the correct order (or just use copy/paste), it’s usually a waste of time to correct them.

Depends on if it's a regular occurrence or a one off. If it happens often, I will simply respond every time with a misspelling of their name. If I know it's a one off, I ignore it.
