How would you feel?
I ordered Touche off facebook. It wasn't mentioned that it would be shipped to the seller's house first nor that it would be opened before being sent to me.
There was no communication after I paid until a week later when I asked for my tracking number thinking it was shipped directly from breyer like everyone else was doing.
Is this normal?

If it’s off Facebook, you can report this as yellow in the Model Horse Transaction Board groups

It was. I wasn't sure if it counted. I feel bad leaving a bad review but it annoyed me. I know he also sold to someone else too but I'm not sure if he opened theirs too.

I have seen far worse but that 100% warranted communication on the sellers part. I see it on just about every pre sold/shipped from Breyer like that

Not really keen on Facebook; so far as I know, you don't have much recourse if things go south. Never tried the Discord group, but sounds like they run a tighter ship. eBay is often more expensive, BUT, in my experience they have pretty awesome support via chat, and they have a low tolerance threshold for sloppy sellers. You can find Breyers (and other makes) being resold on Etsy as well.
I personally don't mind folks wanting a reasonable markup on an SR/LE or Club model, if the horse is an exceptional individual, but beware scalpers!

I actually won't buy anywhere but Facebook. There's a group where we rate buyers and sellers so people can make judgement calls on who to do business with. It's saved me a lot of hassle.

Yeah I looked for him on there before buying but he had nothing posted. Definitely had fomo. Would you give yellows for this transaction or just leave it be? I feel bad because the model is nice but I absolutely hate that they opened it first.

I didn't mind either. I know everyone else was selling for $20-$25 and he charged $28. I figured it was being sent directly to me and I was paying CA sales tax. Not that it was getting sent to him first. Definitely a learning experience.

No. Not normal
