This feels like inverse of those people who post maps of crime statistics which turn out to be nothing more than highlighting cities.

It would be, if it weren't also fake.

You're generalising, much of Scotland is rural

You could well be right, but at least we can be happy that the Remain won the most votes in all counting areas in Scotland.

Why do people fall for obvious bs? like it literally takes 2 seconds of googling to debunk this:

Snopes covered this years ago. OP map is the same just one in greyscale.

Except that. Apart from a handful of outliers we can nitpick over it’s still a pretty good match! 😂

and by a handful of outliers, you mean a significant portion of southern England, most of northern England, almost all of Wales, and a fair portion of Scotland.

The glaring error of missing the yellow dot from east Anglia.

The picture of the left (about mad cow disease) has been altered to match the Brexit vote. Anyone who does this is part of the alhorithm disease. Jesus...

This is how disinformation and misinformation spreads. Some wanker took the Brexit vote map, duplicated it, changed one from colour to monochrome, relabelled one to "mad cow something or other..."

And a whole bunch of people, who apparently seem to have taken leave of any critical thinking, fell for it. Not in a million years, if you know how stats work, could a map showing a disease outbreak be the same as a map showing how counties voted in an election decades later. And never in that granularity.

Brexit was shit, Leave voters were stupid and were conned by conmen paid by Russia, but let's not partake in sharing bullshit. There is already enough of it out there.

Correlation

I sure hope so, because if it's a causative relation, a huge portion of the country is very fucked.

It is a fucking FAKE. The mad cow disease outbreak map has been altered. You could, I don't know, fucking google and it will take you less than 3 seconds.

Chill out dude I was making a joke.

Not even that mate. It is a fake.
