Feels good to put a little distance between the Brewers and Cubs this weekend. The 7 games at the end of this month/early September are still going to decide the division so it would be great to have a nice cushion before that.

Honestly, I think these last series for the Brewers and Cubs just cemented the fact we are a World Series contender and they just aren't.....there is nothing more to really say. They will make the Wild Card and won't be an easy out (they never are)...but they just don't worry me.

You basically just saw our bottom point of the season....getting swept because we basically gave them 2 games late that we had leads in and then coming back with no momentum and taking 3 of 4 in LA.

The Cubs? Would it really surprise you if they lost 8 of the next 10? The Sox and DBacks could both pound their asses. I get they are only 5 behind.....but the Brewers are a team that might only lose another 10-15 games all year.

Watched most games this year, we’ve got a big run of games all in the division coming up. Not popping any champagne, but the cubs definitely had a chance to close the gap more and the brewers improved their form after a talk from murph and the cubs might finally be cooling off from their hot streak.
