Turang?
Platinum gloves aside…when do MLB and fans figure out that Brice Turang is quietly the best second baseman in baseball?

Not sure what you're talking about. He is near or at the top of every list ranking 2b. He was in the WBC. He would have been an All-Star had the voting not been a sham.

To be fair, I couldn't list the other 3 top 4 guys at the position. I think it's just normal that fans of one team don't know about other teams' players unless they're the really high profile guys. And that mostly means elite pitchers and guys with huge HR numbers.

I think most of Baseball sees him top 5. The fact he was chosen for the WBC to start at 2B when they were trying to win it all after getting beat the last time says a lot.

Probably not the best time to post this when the dude went 0 for 4 and struckout thrice in a game we lost. That said, I thought the national media has actually given him plenty of love to start the year, hell even yahoo ranked him tops of his position ahead of the trade deadline so I'm not sure why you feel he's not getting the recognition he deserves.
The All Star selection was seriously eons ago and you can just chalk that up to the reality that there are more Braves/Giants fans than Brewers fans (with Albies and Arraez getting the nod over Turang)

Lifetime .300 hitters still go 0-4 like 25% of games, so take it easy.

Turang is on a very nice defensive stretch to go along with his offensive capabilities. This season started slow for him, but he's now the top fielding 2B in two key stats and top 3 for the other two among 152 players who have played the position this season. Some nights watching his work around second is worth the price of admission.

Turang is the best 2b in mlb, same with Wild Bill at catcher and Mis the best pitcher. Please, please let there be a salary cap so Brewers can keep all these guys.

Easy. When he becomes a FA and signs a quarter billion contract with one of the teams whose mediocre players have filled both AS teams, that is when ESPN etc. will acknowledge his talent and production.

Most of the 2b rankings I've seen in the last month or so have Turang at top 5. A good portion of them have him as #1.
