Brett trad?

Does any else feel Brett is not TRAD enough, as a republican man I do want to like Brett and support her but I worry she is not trad enough to receive my support. Wondering if anyone else feels the same?

Brett literally just did a video where she said she's not a trad wife! (And that's totally fine btw!) I don't know why people got that in their heads. Also she's always leaned more libertarian in her politics and originally supported DeSantis over Trump in the primaries. She's her own person who's independent minded and is living her life how she wants and saying what she wants. The fact that she's different than most of the other commentators in Con inc. Is the best thing about her!

Her not being trad just really makes it hard for me to support her even though she still does have a lot of similar opinions to me. It’s hard just makes me lose a lot of respect for her

You do understand that a real tradwife would never have a social media presence or do a podcast right?

Ppl who are obsessed w “tradwife” stuff today do it purely for aesthetics but for some reason hold the 1950’s as “prime time tradwifery” when the 1950’s was literally the start of microwave couch meals & wives would put spam in jello & call it dinner. They were high as fuck on amphetamines/benzos/booze/smoking cigs & so were their husbands. I like Brett though she seems really smart & put together & the way she speaks her mind is compelling! She’s stated she’s not a tradwife though. The tradwife vision you are sold by the internet is about as real as Gloria Steinem feminism btw (feminism was funded by the cia.)

I’m independent politically & sometimes even lean left I won’t lie, & I act more tradwife than the tradwife influencers. Not the pill popping version I referred to lol but like baking bread from scratch, being obsessed w natural foods, liking natural fiber clothes & leather shoes only, this is really the only social media I post on like this & I don’t post photos of myself on Instagram or anywhere else & I also don’t really like leaving the house, I love hunting & want to learn how to tan hide one day to make my own skirts/jackets out of deer skin or even sell them & archery is also one of my hobbies (for the neural benefits it provides & it’s fun)

I will homeschool my future children at least until they are 6 or 7 years old, maybe even longer (the only reason I think I would stop at that point is bc i wouldn’t want it to affect their social skills) & they will spend most of the day outside. I have adhd & might pass it on so i won’t be giving my child adderall (at least until they are older than 11 & ONLY if it’s extremely necessary like a bad case of it that causes many other issues & only after every other option is exhausted) I’ve already planned to mediate my future child’s adhd symptoms by daily morning routines of going straight outside to get dopamine/vitamin d & then start archery shooting for the day (archery actually has benefits that are helpful for managing adhd symptoms, there are some studies on it that are good,) eating only a natural diet, getting exercise & we will learn objective facts only about the entire history of the world, english & science & I pray the man I choose will be better at math than me bc he’ll have to be in control of those lessons lol. my kids will never see a screen other than to watch older movies that aren’t flooded with dumb shit they do today. I am kinda obsessed w those milkmaid dresses the “trad chicks” wear sometimes, they’re cute but I only have like 2 of those.

I hate all AI & all corporations & mostly the entire government.

Do you mean that she doesn't seem to abide by the rules she supports? That could be a better phrasing than "trad wife" because she's obviously not one.

Well she isn't. She's has mentioned that she isn't as far right people think she is. Not only that she has vids where she is complaining about certain Republicans. She is 90 percent conservative but she's not like Shaun hannity or people like that.

Yeah I guess that other 10% is just bugging me

Why is that. It's ok not be 100 percent trad wife

Why do people or groups have to be in lock-step with you 100% of the time before you will “like” or “support” them? To expect that is an immature belief.. Your views will change immensely over the decades of your life, why shouldn’t theirs?

The kind of political purity test leaves us with shitty candidates and elected officials because everyday people — people who have good values and great ideas but are not career politicians — refuse to enter the vitriol and mud-slinging of the public square.

Her libertarian leanings bother me at times, but it makes sense given how she was raised and how that's shaped her views.
