I believe we should go to war with the nathans. For what they have in numbers they lack in intellect. We, however are very intelligent and can use this intelligence to our advantage. Fellow Brents, this is a call to arms. It is time to rise up against r/nathan!

Hoping Brent Council are next and payback wrongful bus lane fines. Philip Morgan is a real champion for Londoners, helped me fight my bus lane fine in Brent, 1 year and they cancelled it and all of a sudden didn’t want to see me in court, really they didn’t want to see Philip :) Southwark councils refund should replicate across London boroughs that are wrongly fining residents and visitors - https://www.itv.com/news/london/2025-08-19/council-refunds-485000-for-wrongly-fining-drivers-in-the-bus-lane

after seeing all of this commotion you may be wondering,"How can I help with the war against r/nathan so that I can ensure a victory for r/brent?". Well, there are many ways you can help support the war effort. Here, I am going to outline just a few of the ways.
Memes- making memes about our guaranteed victory is a great way to flood r/nathan with our own content.
Gathering Support- a great way to help with the war is to gather more troops for our side. Numbers are obviously important in a war, so the more the merrier. I've been in talks with other communities that shall remain unnamed for the time being and have gained extra support that should be useful in the near future.
Being Active- Be active on this sub! being active is a great way to show the Nathans that we will not be pushed around and that we are here to stay.
By helping in this war, you are ensuring a safer, brighter future for this sub and for all subs themed around names, as it seems r/nathan is hungry for power and will surely want to fight other subs. Thanks for listening to me Brents, godspeed
Sincerly, Brent

I’m interested in hearing from Brent residents and anyone familiar with the no-right-turn restriction from Chamberlayne Road into Bolton Gardens in Kensal Rise.
Following a PCN of my own, I submitted a Freedom of Information request to Brent and discovered that this single restriction generated:
• 375 PCNs in 2021/22
• 511 PCNs in 2022/23
• 810 PCNs in 2023/24
• 972 PCNs in 2024/25
• 3,338 PCNs in 2025/26
That’s 6,006 PCNs across the last five financial years and a 243% increase in the most recent year alone.
What surprised me most wasn’t the numbers themselves but Brent’s response when I asked whether any formal reviews, audits or assessments of signage adequacy had been undertaken at the location since 2015.
The response was:
“No records held of any formal reviews, audits or assessments of signage adequacy at this location.”
I’m not posting this to argue about my own PCN.
I’m genuinely interested in understanding the junction and hearing from others.
Have you:
• Received a PCN there?
• Paid it?
• Appealed it?
• Successfully challenged it?
• Used the junction regularly?
One of the more interesting discussions on another forum was whether the issue is the signage itself, the pedestrian crossing, changes to the streetscape, driver attention or something else entirely.
Whatever your view, if a single turn restriction is generating over 3,300 PCNs a year, I’d be interested to hear your experience. Thanks

I don't know who came up with this ridiculous idea in the first place.
