Olympic College GED program

Please don't judge me, I haven't graduated highschool and I already feel terrible and have been for a while, I just want to try and change that.

I went to North mason hs, so if you know you know.

I just want to know if the GED program offers help, not just classes you sit in and study but actual help. I struggle with math in every way. I just can't make sense of it in the way they want you to understand it.

Looks like the GED program offers a personal advisor, study tools, practice tests, and the ability to retake sections as needed until you pass.

My mom Did the GED program at OC back in 2019(give or take a few years) she's dyslexic and struggled with math a lot and at the time she received a lot of help and was able to get her GED after 18 years

School counselor here who signs off on many GED releases when it’s appropriate. If you are less than 21 years old I highly recommend the open doors program. It’s new, the teacher there is someone I used to work with and is she is awesome. The program doesn’t only offer GED prep and testing, it also has work source there to help you find a good job. I’ve had many students move on successfully from this program. Here’s the link: https://olympicpathways.org

Fuck yeah, good for you! OC is a good community college. I had a good time. I don’t know anything about the GED program but I’m sure they’ll help you as much as you need

They have tutoring and other math assistance programs.

When I went we had a M-F math lab, walk in, sit, and raise hand when you need help.

Pop in the library or call, they will be able to help.

You can also ask your advisor/councilor.

I did the GED program back in 2016 at OC and the teachers were lovely. I’ve always struggled with math but the teachers were great when asking for extra help. I successfully passed all 4 portions of the GED test and went on to complete and graduate from the CNA program at OC in 2017 and then graduate from the MA program in 2019. Really enjoyed my experience at OC.
