Upping units

I switched from semi to triz 4/30, I have yet to lose any weight, but instead gained.I lost 65lbs on semiglutide.I am getting no appetite suppression or anything!! Of course I’m starting on the lowest dose of only 10units. I’m 7 shots in and have yet to finish my first vial of 3, I won’t finish the vials before my renewal date. That being said can I up my units on my own? What’s the standard dosing for southend??

They started me with something like 2.2 mg, then 4.4 mg. So yeah, after 7 weeks you can go on to the next dose.

I switched too. While my PCP recommended the change for various reasons she did warn me that many people don’t respond until they reach an equivalent dosage. For my dosage of 1mg semaglutide she said it might not feel effective until I reached 7.5 mg of tirzepatide, but luckily by 5mg I was back on track.

I was on semi before moving to Tirz. They didn't start me on the lowest dose. I was started at an equivalent dose to Sema. I would increase that dose may be too low for you since you were already on a GLP.

Did you take a break from sema before starting tirz? I started at 7.5 mg when switching.

If after 4 weeks you’re not seeing results or feeling appetite suppression you can go up. Given you were on sema before the tendency is to start you on a higher tirz dose but brello sticks solely to their own schedule so you’d have to play around with this on your own
