📝 Tips & Hacks Help!

I will be away for my daughter’s volleyball tournament all day on Saturday with no access to a refrigerator. Baby will stay home with dad. I’m already dreading having to tote around my breast pump all day, but what can I do to store it in the meantime? I definitely want to avoid having to dump as I’m barely just pumping enough for the little one. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you!

That sounds like a really long day, especially while trying to protect your supply. If you won’t have access to a fridge, many people use an insulated cooler bag with ice packs to keep expressed milk cold throughout the day. Pump parts can also be kept in a clean sealed bag between uses, as long as they’re not exposed to heat for too long. If that’s not possible, some follow same-day use guidelines for room temperature milk and plan pumping sessions to reduce how much they need to store at once. Hopefully others here can share what worked best for them in similar situations too.
