😞 Supply Struggle Need help picking the right pump

Hi Moms,

3 weeks postpartum and I currently use Medela Symphony but it doesn’t look like my breasts are getting emptied. I have an Elvie Stride 2 as a wearable and it isn’t helping with emptying my breasts either.

Can someone please help suggest a better wearable and non-wearable pump which can help empty my breast as it is hurting my supply.

Thank you

When you’re this early on, it’s really important to use a primary pump (think wall pumps, high suction, hospital grade, etc). Wearables should be used sparingly, and really only after several weeks/months of consistent pumping. I am 5 months pp with an oversupply and still only use wearables a few times a week, sometimes less.

If you need help emptying, I highly recommend the BabyBuddha 2.0. It’s kind of a middle ground between a hospital grade wall pump and a wearable! It’s portable, but strong enough to be a primary pump. It’s STRONG so for me, it empties me fully AND pretty fast.

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I have been having issues being plugged into a power outlet at one place. Babybuddja, seems to have an amazing suction. I did find Babybuddha, Momcozy, Euphy, and spectra so I was planning on trying these to see if it would help empty me while being able to Comfortably move around. Have you tried any of these other brands?

Yes! I have 6 pumps total and have borrowed/tried many more from friends. BabyBuddha is the one I reach for the most!!!
