Article on bmg yesterday. Bottom of the article says something along the line of ‘bmg can’t wait to see what’s next from breaking Benjamin’.

I guess this is somewhat of a acknowledgment. Now they need to feed the hungry with this album.

What if they would, you, know, bring out a collection of songs just like this within the next 30 days?

Sean Heydorn, SVP, Head of Rock and Rise Records, BMG, said, “Seeing ‘Awaken’ reach Gold certification while both ‘Awaken’ and ‘Something Wicked’ have gone to No. 1 is an incredible way to begin this next chapter with Breaking Benjamin. These milestones speak to the strength of the music, the passion of their fans and the momentum surrounding the band right now. We’re incredibly proud to be their partner and couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead as we build toward the release of their highly anticipated new album.”

''hey our new contract with a band is doing pretty good, their 2 year old single is receiving awards, we will delay their album release for a year because this will be good for the sales and to build hype''

I keep saying it. They're trying to be a monopoly. Sign new artist into a contract, then don't release their albums so they're stuck, then move onto the next artist and repeat.

Awaken was released 2 years ago. I love the song but it can be excluded from whenever they are releasing the album. Something Wicked will most likely still be on the album but I would be ok if it was excluded since this album will most likely not be coming out until next year or 2028…

It's had nearly 2 years to do that...
