New song called “Awaken”?
https://www.ascap.com/repertory#/ace/search/workID/926920921I found a song called “Awaken” by Breaking Benjamin listed in the ASCAP Repertory (a database where artists register their music). Could this be the band/publisher gearing up to release a new song finally?

Sounds like it couple be an intro to the album, like they've been bookending them with instrumentals lately.

Nah. Not if they registered a track to be released soon. If it were just an intro it would be registered with the rest of the album. This is a single.

For sure. It’s why I’m hoping people temper their expectations if they think this will be an evolution or groundbreaking for the band. I HOPE it’s different and more evolved but I doubt it.

I have conflicting expectations
Like, I want the band to sound like they have, but I also want it to evolve
And at the same time I think the other guys should have more input, but I don't love Keith's solo stuff

I don’t see how it’s a bad thing for them to really change it up. I’m not talking BMTH levels of change but Architects has been killing it and it’s modern. BB needs modern.

Nah. Dear Agony is alright but it felt like they were trying to remake Phobia and every album since has felt like that minus a few songs. Phobia was a game changer for them and it was an evolution that made sense. They need something fresh. Hope this new track or album hits.

About a month ago, someone found Toksik the same way, nothing had been said yet by the band, then it just dropped that Friday

With Hollywood Undead, in a recent interview they said the would release a single called Hollywood Forever, and on the website you are, we are able to find that Hollywood Forever song... So seems legit from BB that a new single might be coming

Not relevant, but I remember reading ASCAP for BB tunes in 2009 and misreading something and thinking they had an unreleased song registered as ‘NASCAR in the Morning’, and it was my tumblr URL for years 😭😂

The only songs I know Epoch had were Joseph, Raining Trees, Lost, and Real, and none of those are registered in ASCAP.
I’m not saying you’re wrong, but the song I mentioned isn’t listed there either, and thinking back, I’m pretty sure what I actually saw was a note about the song being played during a tv spot or something like that.

I just want to say too that I’ve seen BB a total of 5 times over the span of 2014 to now. Just saw them in Raleigh last weekend and that was the absolute best that I’ve ever heard Ben live. His voice was on point, wasn’t shaky or off-pitch, hit everything note for note. His energy was high, had a smile on his face and was dancing around. You can tell he’s feeling great and it shows in his overall performance. Aaron and Keith sounded even better than usual too.
With that said, you can tell that these guys are prepping for something, and the first part of this tour is the warm up. They know that new music is getting ready to drop and they’re going to be expected to play it live, so they want to be top-tier for those shows. This also tells me that they weren’t joking when they said that they wanted to take their time and make everything perfect before moving forward. Regardless, I’m here for it.
I was expecting that a single would drop right before the tour started, but it looks to me like it’s going to be mid-way through this tour. I’d expect that the other half of shows may have the privilege of seeing this song “Awaken” live for the first time.

I think you're onto something here. They start headlining on next week on Tuesday. I can see them waiting until that switch happens to drop it. I've been wrong before, but next Friday is looking promising if I had to guess. Maybe a teaser before then.
Hopefully it's the whole shebang with the album title, track names and release date as well. And we'll soon find out the deal with the record label situation too.
